Sabrina Kidd, MD, has been appointed chief medical officer of Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Mo., part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare.
Dr. Kidd is a certified physician executive and dual board-certified colorectal and general surgeon, according to a Dec. 15 news release shared with Becker’s. She brings nearly 15 years of healthcare leadership and clinical experience to the role, joining the hospital after resuming active clinical practice.
She served as interim chief medical officer at Sonoma (Calif.) Valley Hospital in 2024 and was chief medical executive at a 124-bed Sutter Health hospital in Santa Rosa, Calif., from 2022 to 2023, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Centerpoint Medical Center is a 285-bed acute care hospital. It is part of HCA Midwest Health, which comprises seven hospitals and more than 10,000 colleagues.
