Patrick Rafferty was named CEO of Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Mo., part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare. His appointment became effective in July 2025, according to an Aug. 21 news release shared with Becker’s.
Mr. Rafferty most recently served as COO of Overland Park Regional Medical Center in Kansas, also part of HCA Healthcare.
Centerpoint Medical Center is a 285-bed acute care hospital within HCA Midwest Health, which includes both Centerpoint and Overland Park Regional.
Before joining HCA Midwest Health, Mr. Rafferty worked in HCA’s TriStar Division, according to the release. He was associate administrator at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, followed by a role as COO of TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center in Tennessee.
