HCA Florida promotes CEO of 2 hospitals

Mari Elliott was promoted to CEO of HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital and HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital, both in St. Petersburg.

Ms. Elliott comes to the dual role from HCA Florida Largo Hospital, where she served as COO, according to a July 20 release from HCA Florida. Before that, she held COO roles at HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital, HCA Florida West Tampa Hospital and the Hospital for Endocrine Surgery. 

“Mari is an experienced HCA Healthcare leader with nearly two decades of progressive healthcare leadership experience,” Jyric Sims, president of HCA Healthcare’s West Florida Division, said in the release.

The St. Petersburg and Pasadena hospitals are part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare, which operates 189 hospitals and approximately 2,600 ambulatory sites of care in 19 states and the United Kingdom.
