Mr. Capote most recently served as CFO of Coral Gables (Fla.) Hospital, an affiliate of Dallas-based Steward Health Care. In this role, he helped develop the hospital’s freestanding emergency department, expand its robot-assisted surgery service line and achieve a steady EBITDA growth of $9.7 million over a six-year period.
Mr. Capote previously worked in various finance roles at facilities across south Florida, including controller, assistant controller and financial analyst.
He has a master of business administration in management/leadership from Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers and is affiliated with the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Florida Gulf Coast University Alumni Association.
