North Hawaii Community Hospital Names CEO

North Hawaii Community Hospital has named Ken Wood president and CEO, effective Oct. 1, according to a Hawaii 24/7 report.

Mr. Wood replaces John White, who announced his departure in early September.

Mr. Wood previously served as executive vice president of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, COO and chief marketing officer of Blue Shield of California and in various executive positions for FHP/Take Care Health Plans in Colorado.

He has lived in the North Hawaii community for more than four years and served on the NHCH board in 2009.
