Hackensack Meridian taps new CMO

Patricia Fisher, MD, was appointed CMO of Hackensack Meridian Ocean University Medical Center in Brick Township, N.J. She succeeded Vincent Vivona, DO, who retired after more than 40 years in healthcare, an Oct. 7 news release said.

“Dr. Fisher brings a wealth of experience and leadership to Ocean University Medical Center,” said Jason Kreitner, president and chief hospital executive. “Working in collaboration with our medical staff and team members, she will expand our quality and safety initiatives for all hospital-based services and risk management compliance.”

Dr. Fisher most recently served as CMO and chief safety officer at Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin, part of the University of Vermont Health Network. She assumed her new role in August, according to the news release.
