Christy Jordan, BSN, RN, has been appointed president and CEO of Brunswick, Ga.-based Southeast Georgia Health System, effective June 1.

Ms. Jordan joined the health system in 2012 and has served as chief legal officer since 2014, according to a June 2 news release. She also held the role of COO from 2018 to 2020.

She played a key role in establishing the system’s regional alliance with Jacksonville, Fla.-based Baptist Health in 2014 and helped lead a $142 million renovation and expansion project at the Brunswick campus.

Ms. Jordan has served as interim president and CEO since March 1, following the departure of Scott Raynes, who was named president and CEO of Huntington, W.Va.-based Marshall Health Network in December.

Before joining SGHS, Ms. Jordan worked in private legal practices for eight years.
