Mr. Baker was promoted from his position as COO of Hughston Healthcare after a unanimous vote by Hughston Clinic partners and hospital owners. Mr. Baker was also serving as interim CEO of Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital in Phenix City, Ala., according to the report.
Mr. Baker began his career in healthcare as a physical therapist before moving up to healthcare leadership positions.
