G. Daniel Shealer Named VP, General Counsel of Johns Hopkins Health

G. Daniel Shealer, Jr., has been appointed vice president and general counsel of Johns Hopkins Health System and Johns Hopkins Hospital, both in Baltimore.

Mr. Shealer succeeds Joanne Pollak, who assumed the duties of chief of staff to the Office of Johns Hopkins Medicine this July. Mr. Shealer has served as the health system’s deputy general counsel for the past seventeen years. He will continue to serve as the health system’s vice president for compliance, deputy general counsel for Johns Hopkins Medicine and secretary of the boards of Johns Hopkins Medicine, the health system and Johns Hopkins Hospital.
