Froedtert ThedaCare taps CFO

Menomonee Falls, Wis.-based Froedtert ThedaCare has named Harold Berfiend CFO, effective May 11. 

Mr. Berfiend joins the system from Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health, where he held several leadership roles, most recently serving as vice president and controller, according to an April 14 news release. 

In his new role, Mr. Berfiend will oversee several teams, including finance, facilities, revenue cycle, supply chain and managed care. 

Froedtert ThedaCare also announced that Mark Thompson, the system’s chief transformational investments and value integration officer, is retiring July 3. Mr. Thompson has also been serving as interim CFO.
