Ms. Tortorella has served as Dallas-based Steward’s COO since 2020 and had been with the health system since 2010, according to a Sept. 14 AccentCare news release.
She succeeds Steve Rogers, who is stepping down as AccentCare’s CEO after 11 years, according to the release. He is staying on through the remainder of 2023 to allow for a successful transition.
AccentCare said in the release that Ms. Tortorella’s experience working at an integrated health system gives her a keen understanding of the current value-based care environment and sees significant opportunity to expand the provider’s relationships with health systems and payers.
