Former Denver Health CEO Dr. Patricia Gabow Joins Robert Wood Johnson Board

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation has announced the election of Patricia A. Gabow, MD, retired CEO of Denver Health, to its board of trustees.

Dr. Gabow has been credited with transforming Denver Health from a struggling public health system to one that consistently delivers high-quality care while keeping costs low, according to the news release.

“[Dr. Gabow’s] achievements in lowering the costs of healthcare while at the same time improving the quality and access of care will be very beneficial to RWJF as we work to solve the nation’s most pressing health and healthcare problems,” said RWJF President and CEO Risa Lavizzo-Mourey, MD, in the news release.
