Florida’s Memorial Healthcare Names CEOs for Memorial Regional Hospital, Memorial Hospital Pembroke

Hollywood, Fla.-based Memorial Healthcare System has named new CEOs for two of its facilities, according to a report by the South Florida Business Journal.

Zeff Ross was named the new senior vice president and CEO of Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood. He most recently served as interim CEO and senior vice president of western operations at Memorial Hospital Pembroke in Pembroke Pines, Fla.

Mr. Ross replaces J.E. Piriz, who will become senior vice president for the system.

In his new position, Mr. Ross will also oversee Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and Memorial Regional Hospital South, both in Hollywood.

Leah Carpenter will replace Mr. Ross as CEO of Memorial Hospital Pembroke. In her position, she will also oversee Memorial Urgent Care Center in Pembroke Pines. She previously served as chief nursing officer at Memorial Hospital Miramar (Fla.), according to the report.
