COO John Wiest of Lee Memorial Health in Florida Steps Down

John Wiest, COO of Lee Memorial Health System in Fort Myers, Fla., has stepped down from his post, according to a health system release.

Mr. Wiest left the organization to return to PricewaterhouseCoopers, his employer prior to joining Lee Memorial in March 2000. Lawrence Antonucci, MD, has been chosen to succeed Mr. Wiest. Dr. Antonucci was previously the COO for Lee Memorial’s Hospital and Physician Services, sharing the COO role with Mr. Wiest.
