Florida Hospital Carrollwood names new CFO: 4 things to know

Florida Hospital Carrollwood in Tampa has welcomed Chris Sauder as vice president and CFO.

Here are four things to know about Mr. Sauder.

1. His financial background includes serving as a defense contract auditor, reimbursement analyst and controller, while advancing his professional career through Roseville, Calif.-based Adventist Health, according to a news release.

2. He most recently was CFO of Frank R. Howard Memorial Hospital in Willits, Calif.

3. In his new role, Mr. Sauder succeeds former Florida Hospital Carrollwood CFO Shane Cox, who was promoted to vice president of revenue cycle for Shawnee Mission (Kan.) Health, part of Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based Adventist Health System.

4. Mr. Sauder earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Colorado at Denver, and is both a certified public accountant and certified healthcare financial professional.
