Florida HCA hospital taps chief nursing officer

Port Charlotte-based HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital named Elizabeth Albaugh, DNP, RN, chief nursing officer.

Dr. Albaugh will oversee clinical initiatives in conjunction with Nicole Carr, DNP, RN, assistant chief nursing officer, according to a March 27 system news release.

Most recently, Dr. Albaugh served as chief nursing officer at Elizabeth City, N.C.-based Sentara Albemarle Medical Center.
