Mr. Gordy has worked at Flagler Hospital for 38 years, serving in a number of leadership roles. He helped navigate the hospital through a rapidly changing healthcare landscape that included the shift to value-based care and introduction of EHRs.
Jason Barrett, the current executive vice president and chief administrative officer, will succeed Mr. Gordy. Mr. Barrett previously served as COO at Flagler, and prior to that, he worked at University of Florida Health Jacksonville. He is a member of the American College of Health Care Executives.
“Flagler Hospital is well positioned for the future. Our clinically integrated network, our relationship with Coastal Community Health, our board and our leadership team are all aligned to take us where we need to go,” said Mr. Gordy in a statement.
