Fitzgibbon Hospital names Dr. Darin Haug CEO

Marshall, Mo.-based Fitzgibbon Hospital has named Darin L. Haug, DO, to succeed current president and CEO Ron Ott, according to The Marshall Democrat-News.

Mr. Ott is retiring after 28 years with the hospital, effective May 1.

Most recently, Dr. Haug has served as Fitzgibbon’s CMO since 2012. He formerly served as executive vice president of academic and medical affairs and dean of the College of Osteopathic Medicine at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He also has experience working in the Marshall community as a private practice physician, emergency department physician, hospitalist and consultant to the Saline County Health Department.
