Fisher-Titus Medical Center CEO to retire next year

Norwalk, Ohio-based Fisher-Titus Medical Center President and CEO Lorna Strayer is retiring in 2018, according to a Norwalk Reflector report. She served the organization for 33 years.

Ms. Strayer’s career at Fisher-Titus began in 1985, when she started working there as a certified speech-language pathologist. She has since served in numerous leadership roles at the organization, including senior vice president of administration and business development and executive vice president/COO.

During her tenure, the organization has grown via acquisitions and clinical affiliations. Ms. Strayer spearheaded construction management, business development and community outreach initiatives. She was also involved with the Northwest Ohio Hospital Council and the Ohio Hospital Association’s small and rural hospital committee, according to the report.
