Elizabeth Schwartz has been named senior vice president and head of government relations for the Federation of American Hospitals.
In her new role, Ms. Schwartz will oversee FAH’s engagement with policymakers and key stakeholders, driving the organization’s priorities across key policy areas while bolstering its advocacy efforts on behalf of tax-paying hospitals, according to a May 7 news release shared with Becker’s.
Prior to her new role, Ms. Schwartz spent nearly a decade in the biopharmaceutical industry, playing a central role in moving key advocacy initiatives forward.
