Essent Healthcare Names CEO for Texas’ Paris Regional Medical Center

Nashville, Tenn.-based Essent Healthcare has named Bill Porter as CEO of Paris (Texas) Regional Medical Center, according to an Essent news release.

Mr. Porter has served as the hospital’s COO since January. He was named interim CEO following the departure of former CEO Chris Dux in August. Mr. Porter assumed his new permanent role on Oct. 1.

Prior to joining Paris Regional Medical Center, Mr. Porter served as CEO for Odessa (Texas) Regional Medical Center and Tempe (Ariz.) St. Luke’s Hospital. He has more than 16 years of hospital administrative experience.
