For the fiscal year, which began in July for Erlanger, the health system has a total of $6.4 million in operations losses, according to the report. Erlanger administrators had projected it would have a surplus of nearly $4 million by the end of November.
Admissions were 9.1 percent higher than Erlanger witnessed last November, and physician outpatient visits increased 27.8 percent. Interim CEO Charlesetta Woodard-Thompson declined to comment about the system’s finances.
