David Markiewicz has been appointed CEO of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Erie (Pa.).
Mr. Markiewicz previously served as vice president of physician enterprise operations at Buffalo, N.Y.-based Catholic Health, according to a Nov. 21 news release shared with Becker’s.
Encompass Health, based in Birmingham, Ala., operates 166 hospitals, including the 60-bed Rehabilitation Hospital of Erie.
