Dr. Susan Moffatt-Bruce to serve as president of 2 IU Health hospitals: 3 points

Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health appointed Susan Moffatt-Bruce, MD, president of IU Health Methodist Hospital and IU Health University Hospital, both located in Indianapolis, according to an Inside Indiana Business report.

1. Dr. Moffatt-Bruce will assume her new role on Sept. 1.

2. Currently, she serves as chief quality, patient safety and experience officer at Columbus-based Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She also serves as a professor of surgery and biomedical informatics at the medical center.

3. Dr. Moffatt-Bruce, cardiothoracic surgeon, holds an MBA degree from Ohio State’s Fisher College of Business in Columbus.
