Dr. Reginald Eadie named CEO of Detroit Receiving Hospital

The Detroit Medical Center has named Reginald J. Eadie, MD, to succeed Iris Taylor, PhD, RN, as CEO of DMC Detroit Receiving Hospital, according to the Michigan Chronicle.

Dr. Eadie, a board-certified emergency medicine physician, currently serves as CEO of DMC Harper-Hutzel Hospital. He will continue in a dual role serving both hospitals once his new appointment takes effect March 27.

Dr. Eadie joined the DMC system as vice president of medical affairs of DMC Harper University Hospital and DMC Hutzel Women’s Hospital in 2008. In 2010, he was named president of Detroit Receiving Hospital, then president of DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital in 2012. In October 2013, he became CEO of DMC Harper-Hutzel Hospital.
