Dr. Angood, who currently is president and CEO of the Boston-based healthcare consulting firm PBA Solutions Insight, replaces Barry R. Silbaugh, MD, who served as CEO for four years. Dr. Angood also served as CMO for the GE Healthcare Patient Safety Organization, and he recently completed a two-year engagement with the National Quality Forum and National Priorities Partnership as senior advisor for patient safety.
