Mr. Ahrens has been affiliated with Hannibal Regional Healthcare since 2001. He initially served in a governance role on the hospital and healthcare system board of directors, serving as chairperson of the board in 2005.
Mr. Ahrens will succeed John Grossmeier, who recently announced his retirement.
