Dr. Brian Davidson chosen as interim leader for St. Mary’s: 3 things to know

Brian Davidson, MD, vice president for medical affairs and CMO of St. Mary’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center in Grand Junction, Colo., will become the interim president of St. Mary’s on Oct. 9, the hospital said, according to a report from The Daily Sentinel.

Here are three things to know about Dr. Davidson.

1. He will take over as interim head while a nationwide search is conducted to find a replacement for departing President and CEO Mike McBride.

2. He will continue his current duties while serving as interim president.

3. He is an anesthesiologist and earned his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora.
