Mr. Kirk most recently served as president and COO at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center in Oakland, Calif. During his term at the 1,080-bed facility, Mr. Kirk established a clinical quality standard of top performance, significantly improved employee satisfaction and consistently exceeded operating budget targets in financial performance. He also led the development of a $450 million strategic master facility plan for the medical center.
