Richard S. Citron, director of the Philadelphia VA Medical Center, plans to retire after 38 years with the Department of Veterans Affairs, according to a report by the Philadelphia Inquirer.
In his 2.5 years as director, Mr. Citron expanded a behavioral health program and added a women’s health program.
The VA will conduct a national search for his replacement.
