Director of Michigan Hospital to Retire

John Labriola, senior vice president and director of Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Mich., will step down from his current position on Oct. 1, but will remain on staff as a consultant and advisor until he retires next year, according to a report by Crain’s Detroit Business.

Mr. Labriola’s primary duty as an advisor will be helping the hospital develop a medical school with Oakland University in Rochester, Mich., according to the report.

Shane Cerone, Beaumont’s COO, will replace Mr. Labriola.
