Director of Medical College of Georgia Cancer Center Relinquishes Post

Kapil Bhalla, MD, has resigned as director of the Medical College of Georgia Cancer Center, according to a report by the Augusta Chronicle.

While his administrative duties have been reassigned, Dr. Bhalla will continue running his lab at the center.

Dr. Bhalla helped coordinate plans for the center’s new $31 replacement facility, which will open in January.
