California’s Oak Valley Hospital Extends CEO John Friel’s Contract to Feb. 2012

The board of Oak Valley Hospital in Oakdale, Calif., voted to extend CEO John Friel’s contract until Feb. 2012 to help the hospital smoothly transition to its new building, according to an Oakdale Leader report.

Mr. Friel’s contract would have expired in Oct. 2011. According to the hospital website, construction of a new 123,000-square-foot hospital began in Dec. 2008 and is scheduled to be completed in 2011.
