Dallas Hospital Names New CEO

Medical City Dallas (Texas) Hospital has named Erol Akdamar as its new president and CEO, effective Jan. 11, according to a report by the Dallas Business Journal.

Mr. Akdamar will replace Britt Berrett, who is leaving to become president of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, according to the report.

Mr. Akdamar currently serves as CEO of St. David’s South Austin (Texas) Hospital. He earned his master’s in health administration from Tulane University in New Orleans.
