She will succeed Ellen Wilhoit, who will retire in early 2014, according to the report. Ms. Hanson is currently vice president and chief nursing officer of Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, Tenn. Previously, she was vice president of patient care services and system nurse executive for Knoxville-based Baptist Health System of East Tennessee.
