Ms. Goodlett has served as the hospital’s COO since Jan. 2008. She submitted her resignation letter Saturday morning. According to the report, she is leaving the hospital to pursue other opportunities and recently accepted a job as an analyst with a venture capital firm.

The hospital will most likely decide how to approach Ms. Goodlett’s resignation at the next board meeting. It could fill the position within the next 60-90 days or not fill the position and see how the hospital functions without a COO.
