Cone Health names chief medical officer

Greensboro, N.C.-based Cone Health has appointed Eric Schuck, MD, as chief medical officer for the system’s North and East markets. 

Dr. Schuck will lead teams at Burlington, N.C.-based Alamance Regional Medical Center and Reidsville-based Annie Penn Hospital, according to a Sept. 8 news release from the health system.

An Air Force veteran, he has experience serving in multiple chief medical officer roles during his time with Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare and Trinity Health Georgia, part of Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health.
