Colorado’s North Suburban Medical Center Names New CEO

Jennifer D. Alderfer has been appointed CEO of 157-bed North Suburban Medical Center in Thornton, Colo., operated by HCA-HealthOne, a joint venture of HCA and the Colorado Health Foundation, according to a release from North Suburban.

Ms. Alderfer, age 35, succeeds Todd Steward, who has become CEO at Saint David’s South Austin Medical Center in Austin, Texas. She has been COO of the hospital since 2006 and has more than 10 years of experience in healthcare management within HCA.

HealthONE is the largest healthcare system in the metro Denver area, with 8,700 employees and 3,000 affiliated physicians.
