Colorado hospital names CEO

Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center in Salida, Colo., has appointed John Tucker as CEO.

Mr. Tucker joined the organization as president on Jan. 2, 2025, according to a Dec. 17 hospital news release. Since then, he has built strong relationships with staff and led the implementation of several modernizations, including robotics-assisted surgical equipment.

He is also leading the search for a new EHR system, the release said.

Mr. Tucker had been serving alongside Bob Morasko, who has held the CEO role part time since January. Mr. Morasko will transition to a consultant role on Jan. 1, 2026.
