Mr. McMackin joins Cogent HMG with more than 20 years of healthcare experience. Prior to Cogent HMG, he served as vice president of HCA Physician Services, Hospital Based Programs and Physician Strategic Sourcing. In his new position, Mr. McMackin will be responsible for the recruitment and retention of physicians who serve the company’s hospital clients. Cogent HMG plans to recruit 400 new physicians in 2012.
