Clinton Hospital CEO to retire: 4 things to know

Sheila Daly, RN, longtime leader of Clinton (Mass.) Hospital, will retire at the end of the year, according to a Telegram & Gazette report.

Here are four things to know about Ms. Daly.

1. Ms. Daly was appointed president and CEO of Clinton Hospital in 2001 and has been with the hospital in many roles since she was hired in 1973. 

2. In addition to her role as a staff nurse, Ms. Daly held a number of other positions throughout her 42-year career at Clinton Hospital, including vice president of Patient Care Services.

3. Clinton Hospital’s emergency department building, which opened in 2013, is named after Ms. Daly.

4. UMass Memorial will announce a succession plan in the coming months.
