CHS Missouri hospital names CEO

Benjamin Hughes has been appointed CEO of Moberly (Mo.) Regional Medical Center, part of Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems, effective June 2.

Mr. Hughes has served as COO of East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro since September 2023, according to a March 31 hospital news release.

He brings more than a decade of healthcare operations experience in patient safety, service line expansion and executive leadership. He previously served as assistant COO at Tulane Lakeside Hospital in Metairie, La.

Community Health Systems operates 72 hospitals in 14 states.
