ChristianaCare names chief clinical effectiveness officer

Newark, Del.-based ChristianaCare named Varadarajan Subbiah, MD, chief clinical effectiveness officer.

In his new role, Dr. Subbiah will provide medical leadership by overseeing the clinical-effectiveness program and the quality and patient-safety program, according to a Dec. 10 system news release.

Since February 2020, he has served as vice president of utilization management and quality. Previously, he was the medical director of patient access and flow for ChristianaCare and as chief medical officer of Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, Calif.
