DeAnn Marshall, executive vice president and chief external affairs officer at Washington, D.C.-based Children’s National Hospital, announced her retirement in a Feb. 27 LinkedIn post.
Ms. Marshall also serves as president of the Children’s National Hospital Foundation, according to her LinkedIn profile. She has held both roles since 2017.
“As I step into this next chapter, I do so with immense pride in the work we’ve done and great confidence in the next generation of pediatric healthcare leaders,” she said in the post. “The future of children’s healthcare is bright.”
Before joining Children’s National, she was senior vice president and chief development and marketing officer at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles from 2010 to 2017. She also previously held executive leadership roles at University of California San Diego and at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
