Here are four things to know:
1. Mr. Park joins CHI St. Joseph from Renton, Wash.-based Providence St. Joseph Health’s Oregon Region, where he led 10,000-plus caregivers.
2. He previously served as chief executive for Providence Portland (Ore.) Medical Center and Providence Milwaukie (Ore.) Hospital.
3. He holds a master of science degree in healthcare administration from Trinity University in San Antonio.
4. Mr. Park is the permanent successor to Rick Napper, who left the post in January to serve as president and CEO of Odessa, Texas-based Medical Center Health System.
