Omaha, Neb.-based CHI Health appointed Julie Goebel as president of its Nebraska and Iowa market, overseeing 10 hospitals.
Ms. Goebel stepped into the role after serving as interim market president for six months, overseeing CHI Health hospitals across Nebraska and Southwest Iowa, according to a Nov. 24 health system news release shared with Becker’s. She joined the system in May 2022 and previously served as senior vice president and COO for CHI Health and CommonSpirit Health’s Midwest market.
From February 2023 to July 2024, Ms. Goebel also served as interim president of CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center-Bergan Mercy in Omaha.
CHI Health includes 28 hospitals and is part of Chicago-based CommonSpirit Health.
