Chestnut Health taps CAO from Carle Health

Bloomington, Ill.-based Chestnut Health Systems has appointed Tony Coletta chief administrative officer, effective Oct. 7.

Mr. Coletta brings more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, most recently serving as vice president of human resources and talent relations at Urbana, Ill.-based Carle Health. He previously held a similar role at Advocate Eureka Hospital and Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal, Ill.

He will assume most responsibilities from current COO and general counsel Puneet Leekha, who will take over as Chestnut CEO in the fall of 2025. 

“Tony’s experience in quality and process improvement, change management, employee experience and human resources makes him a natural fit for this role,“ Mr. Leekha said in an Aug. 28 news release.
