Both hospitals are part of Nashville, Tenn.-based Vanguard Health Systems’ Chicago market.
Mr. Brown has served as CEO of Westlake Hospital since July 2011.
Prior to taking over at Westlake, Mr. Brown served as president and CEO of Provena Saint Joseph Hospital in Elgin, Ill., and system senior vice president of Provena.
