CEO Retires at University Health Care System in Georgia

J. Larry Read is retiring as CEO of as president and CEO of University Health Care System, which runs 581-bed University Hospital in Augusta, Ga., according to a report by the Augusta Chronicle.

Mr. Read has led the system since 1999 and will be succeeded by COO Jim Davis.

The hospital just completed a $94 million renovation that includes its new Heart & Vascular Institute.
