CEO of Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.Y., Elected to AHA Board

Steven I. Goldstein, president and CEO of 750-bed Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.Y., has been elected to the board of trustees of the American Hospital Association, according to a report from the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle.

Mr. Goldstein also sits on the AHA’s Advisory Committee on Health Care Reform, which is fulfilling President Barack Obama’s request for details on how U.S. hospitals will cut $155 billion in costs over 10 years.

The AHA reported the full list of seven new board members on July 29.
